Our Story
It all started in a small garage in Boston, MA back in 1985. Our founder, Mark Carson, had a lifelong love of toys, especially classic toys from his own childhood like Teddy Ruxpin and Cat Paw. Mark had a knack for fixing old toys and a passion for creating new toy inventions.
After fixing and reviving his old childhood toys, Mark decided to start a small business refurbishing and selling classic toys. The business quickly took off once customers realized the amazing quality and attention to detail of Mark’s toy restorations.
Soon, Mark began getting requests from customers for new toy inventions. Never one to back down from a challenge, Mark started coming up with unique new toy ideas in his spare time. His first big hit was the Rock-A-Too Rocking Horse in 1989 – a modern spin on a classic toy.
The success of the Rock-A-Too gave Mark the confidence to turn his side hobby into a full-time business. In 1991, Mark officially launched Wicked Cool Toys with the mission of bringing classic toys back to life along with inventing new toys that would become classics.
Over the past 30+ years, Wicked Cool Toys has grown from Mark’s garage into a leading toy company. But our focus remains the same – create fun, innovative toys that spark nostalgia and inspire imagination. We still restore beloved vintage toys like Teddy Ruxpin and Cat Paw while also developing cool new products like our popular Fidget Spinners.
Today, Wicked Cool Toys offers over 500 unique products including restored classics, new toy inventions, collectibles, games, puzzles, plush animals, and more. We sell our toys directly to consumers online as well as wholesale to over 2000 retailers worldwide. Our toys have brought joy to millions and we are just getting warmed up!

Mark Carson – Founder and CEO
Mark’s lifelong love of toys drove him to turn his hobby into a business back in 1985. He still has a hand in new product development and relishes restoring vintage toys. Under his leadership, Wicked Cool Toys has grown into an industry leader.
Sarah Cruz – Head of Design
Sarah leads our toy design team. She has an instinct for knowing what new products will delight kids. Some of our bestsellers like Fidget Spinners were Sarah’s creation. Her team is always developing the next big thing.
Ryan Howard – Master Toy Restorer
Ryan possesses an uncanny ability to resurrect antique toys. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is second-to-none. Send him your old, broken Teddy Ruxpin and he’ll return it working like new – guaranteed.

After starting in Mark’s small garage, Wicked Cool Toys has expanded over the years while remaining proudly headquartered in Burlington, MA. Some key features of our current facility include:
